No one doubts the appeal of southern Florida to meet the principle of all Real Estate: “Location, location, location”, but in 2017 it also brings additional factors that make it possible to foresee that this is going to be a very special year for one of the most seductive areas of the city.
Baby boomers keep choosing it. There is a lot of talk about millennials, but baby boomers, who are retiring at an approximate rate of 2 million per year keep choosing southern Florida, and in many cases they choose to pamper themselves with offers of new units, many of them with high luxury, not only traditional condos.

It will have the post electoral drive. 2016 was marked by one of the most complicated elections of the past years. Strong frictions in the internal elections of both main parties, a complicated campaign plagued with incidents, and the somewhat surprising triumph of Donald Trump have been left behind, and specialized studies affirm that some postponed elections in real estate will be taken. This will let realtors capitalize that Florida has been one of the states where employment rate is actually growing and this will favor Miami Beach, which will see the return of buyers and investors.
Miami keeps establishing itself as a brand. When the first statistics showed that there will be some corrections in the market due to the reduction of Latino buyers, Americans reappeared, as well as Canadians. With every passing year, Miami consolidates itself, alongside New York and San Francisco, as the most important cities of the United States towards the rest of the world, a strategic enclave that works as a bridge between the cultures of the US and Latin America.
